5Star Responder - Help at the touch of a button

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Zeitghost Blog Network for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have 2 kids that go to their dads on the weekend who just so happens to live about 705 miles away. And I worry all the time about them. For protection, I need to have something that can help and response me in a touch of a button if unexpected thing happen. Luckily, there is a product called 5Star Urgent Responder. This would give me a lot of peace of mind.

About the new 5Star Urgent Responder…”Help at the Touch of a Button:”

The compact, discrete, and GPS-enabled 5Star Responder can prepare you for any unsafe or uncertain situation. Simply press the button anytime you need help and you’re connected to 5Star – or press and hold to connect to 9-1-1directly. Conveniently attaches to your keychain, purse, backpack or other items.

It would be great for seniors, kids, joggers, babysitters and you could even mount it discreetly in a car as an on-board panic button with tracking.

This product comes in two different colors black and silver. You can get them at Walmart or Sears.

This system is endorsed by John Walsh from America’s Most Wanted. Walsh, who knows a little about safety and security, will be at CES on Wednesday to promote the device.

More details follow in a press release after the video.

Walgreens Prescription Savings Club

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Many people will be sure affected by failed Walgreens new negotiation with Express Scripts. So Walgreens is no longer part of Express-Scripts' pharmacy provider network as of Jan 1st. Express Scripts was unwilling to negotiate new terms that would keep Walgreens customers satisfied, such as holding rates steady, 90 day refills at the pharmacy and discounted rates for military personnel.

As of the start of 2012, Express Scripts will no longer provide in-network coverage for prescriptions filled at Walgreens. Patients are going through the added hassle of changing new pharmacists, driving farther and not seeing the rates going down.

You can learn more about the details by reading this AP news article: Walgreens and Express Script Negotiation Details

In this connection, Walgreens is doing everything they can to ease the patients burden by offering special discount. The Walgreens is reducing by 75 percent the annual enrollment fee for its Walgreens Prescription Savings Club—a discount program covering all generic medications and over 8,000 name brands—according to a Walgreens statement. This promotion is aimed to help customers affected by the ongoing contract dispute between Walgreens and pharmacy benefits manager Express Scripts Inc.

Normal yearly fees for the savings club cost $25 per person or $35 per family. During January, Walgreens offers the program at $5 per individual and $10 per family for eligible customers.

Besides we can all show our support to Walgreens by simply following Walgreens on Twitter and become a fan of Walgreens on Facebook.
